🔶 With Delete Me:
Admin-initiated deletions: Deletion from customer management, Bulk deletion, and Auto deletion of inactive members
Customer-initiated deletions: Deletion via the unsubscribe button on the storefront
In total, four types of logical deletion are available.
🔶 With Shopify’s standard features:
Only admin-initiated deletion is possible.
From Shopify > Customers > Select the customer data to delete > “More actions” > “Delete personal data” / “Delete customer information”, the customer data is permanently deleted.
If the admin staff deletes a customer who still has unfulfilled orders, the order data in Order Management will also be deleted.
☝️ In Delete Me, customer deletion from Customer Management is performed through Logical Delete.
